Minechem polytool elements mod#I noticed there is some severe lack of correct up-to-date information on the mod MineChem. Minechem polytool elements pro#Now, I'm no pro at this mod just yet, but I've used it enough to give a quick overview of it. Let's start with the small, fun things that just make your digital life better. Decompose random vanilla sapplings, slabs, planks, whatever and create a new one. Want a jungle tree but only have oak? Decompose your oak and create jungle sapplings (or planks or slabs or. ) (Note: you can't use it to get saplings added by other mods, at least not those that I tried)Ĭhange useless junk to valuable junk. Minechem polytool elements full#If you need Lead I advice you decompose Soul Sand and for Tungsten you need to decompose Netherrack (you need these elements for the higher tier multi-block structures) #POLYTOOL UPGRADES FULL#ĭo you have chests and chests full of stone but you really need some iron? Decompose that shit and you'll get some iron as a by-product of it. Usually, the amount of stuff you put in is way, way more than you get out. I didn't do the math but I estimate you'd need 1 stack of Soul Sand for 16 Lead (which gives you 1 lead ignot assuming you have a mod that adds Lead ignots), I assume stone > iron has similar conversion rates. To easily remember what makes what, you have a microscope and a chemist journal which let you discover what stuff is made out off. ![]() These are not necesary, but just a convience. It also gives the idea of "gotta collect them all" for me, but that might just be the compulsive hoarder in me talking. I guess this needs a mention as well, you can convert 1.5 stacks of coal into 1 diamond, requiring 1x decomposing and 2x synthesizing. (Assuming this is enabled in the config, by default, some items are blacklisted for synthesizing or decomposing)Īutomation! Using a hopper above and below the decomposer works like you'd expect, you dump your junk above and collect the goods below. From there you can go crazy with your automation. Wooden transport pipes from BuildCraft work as well. Powering the machines seemed to work fine with BuildCraft Kinetic Pipes and Galacticraft aluminium wire. There are also some very fun effects with molecules. They are quite similar to potions except that you will need to go and try out what they do since there doesn't seem to be a complete list of what different molecules can do (the wiki at least lists some of them). Some molecules just give you a bit of food + saturation, like H2O. Others give you Speed bonus, Regeneration, Nausia, Wither, you name it. Of course, some of these molecules are dangarous. For example, do not drink something like Cyanide, that's bad for you. But if you have a spare moment in your busy MC life, sitting back and trying some molecules can be quite fun. We've gotten feedback, and we've added Minetweaker support.Take some asperin or penicillin with you, in case one of the molecules gives you a severe headache or worse. Iron(iii) oxide and copper because of redstone. What's a release candidate? It's a build that we're 99% sure is ready to be considered an official release. 304 Titanium Ti, 32 Vanadium V, 106 Iron Fe, 6 Carbon C, 4 Silicon Si, 4 Oxygen O, 6 Cellulose C 6 H 10 O 5, 1 Iron (iii) Oxide Fe 2 O 3, 1 Copper Cu 15w49a: Vanadium and cellulose because of the compressor unit. If no major bugs get reported in the next week (please report all bugs on the Minechem issue tracker!), we'll stick a fork in it and call it "done!". I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to this release, and especially my partners in crime way2muchnoise and hilburn, who took point while I recover from carpal tunnel syndrome and tendinitis.
